Want to learn some new ideas for how to positively connect with your children? Join Jessica (Hackman) Weidel '05 for a webinar where she will be teaching about the four dimensions of healthy attachment. Jessica will share demonstrations of fun activities to do with your child to strengthen each dimension.

�ճ��Alumni Continuing Education Series (A.C.E.S.) is a non-credit granting, personal enrichment series offered to alumni of ��ֱ�� as a benefit and aims to stimulate intellectual growth by connecting graduates to the academic resources of their alma mater. The series features current and former faculty and other members of the ��ֱ�� community.

The Office of Alumni Relations will provide the Zoom conferencing link and password the day before the program is to take place.

Jessica (Hackman) Weidel '05 is a Certified Theraplay Therapist, Trainer, and Supervisor. She has been using Theraplay in her practice since 2009. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from ��ֱ�� and her Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Loyola University, Chicago.

Jessica has worked as an adoption preservation therapist in Chicago, IL where she served families who were struggling with their adoption or guardianship. She has also worked as a therapist at the in Evanston, IL, and as an infant mental health consultant in the Healthy Families program. Jessica specializes in building healthy attachment. She has experience working with children who have survived abuse, neglect, loss, medical trauma, and other trauma. She is also skilled in supporting the parents of these children and helping them to learn how to help their child to heal. Jessica was a collaborating author of the Theraplay for foster/adoptive parents curriculum.

Jessica has been doing Theraplay trainings and supervising practicum students since 2013. She lives in Spokane, WA with her husband (fellow JCU Alum Tim Weidel '05) and 2 children, ages 6 & 3.
